A History and Background of A T-Shirt Giant

Threadless has grown from a tiny little start-up company to a massive t-shirt design company in a relatively short period. They started way back in 2000 in Chicago by founders skinny Corp. Jake and Jacob, the partners involved, started Threadless with just $1,000 in seed money. How did such a small investment yield such huge results? The answer is an innovative concept in the t-shirt design competition.
Instead of trying to design all the shirts themselves, Threadless started a competition to get a huge variety of designers to submit designs. They crowd-sourced the designs, which allowed them to get much better quality and variety for a much lower cost. It was this innovation that has allowed Threadless to become the t-shirt Juggernaut that they are today.
Since their beginning, Threadless have also grown in the number of brands they have. They released the Threadless Select Series, as well as Threadless Kids. The Threadless Select series is a curated, high-quality brand. Much like standard t-shirt design processes, Threadless personally selects the designers--they don't run a competition. These designs tend to be more expensive, but they're also better quality and very cool looking. Threadless Kids is, quite obviously, a Threadless series for children. They sell kids sizes as well as pajamas and other stuff for the little ones.
Threadless has also expanded into the world of retail. In 2007, they opened their first retail store in Chicago, selling the standard stock of Threadless t-shirts. Later in 2008 they launched a second store to sell shirts from the Threadless Kids series. These stores have been incredibly successful, and we might just see Threadless expanding into even more retail markets.
They have also expanded their office locations. Threadless was originally located in only Chicago, but they have recently expanded offices into Boulder, CO, and have other locations planned in the future. It's good to see Threadless expanding--maybe they will be coming to your city soon!
Threadless shirts usually sell for about $20, but they offer many ways to lower that price. One effective way is Threadless sales, which occur fairly often. They usually run five or six sales a year, which result in some pretty cheap t-shirts. The standard sale price is $10, which is a whopping 50% off. They usually run these sales about every quarter of the year, with a few extra thrown in here and there.
You can also save money with threadless coupon code. They don't release these coupons and promo codes often, but when they do they're usually good for $3 or $5 off per order or shirt. Both of these are great ways to get Threadless shirts at a much cheaper price.
